A concept car is a car that could be mass produced or more commonly just stays as a concept or idea. Concept cars are usually some of the weirdest and/or coolest looking cars but for some reason or another never go into production.

A concept car is one designed by someone with a purpose. Like the electric cars of the 1970's. There were none that worked but the concept was a good one. The hybrids are concept cars and the solar ones are too.

A concept car is a car that a company designs for the near future and they take the concept cars to auto shows to see what the consumers think of it. If the consumers like the concept, they put it into production.

A concept car is basically an idea for a car in preproduction stages. It is a prototype which usually is revealed at auto shows to gauge consumer reaction or used to reveal new technology that might be implemented in the future.

Concept mens: Idea=> Conept car means a car based on an idea. usually big car companies introduce their Concept cars to show their abilities.
but some of the new companies introduce them to show their future plan like Koenigsegg that introduce its ''CC Concept 2001" and after that, after one year the real CC produced.
usually you can see new technologies in concept cars.
some of concept cars: Mercedes benz F700, F600 Hygenius, F400 carving,porsche GT1, Lamborghini gallardo reventon....
