I wonder if I am getting into trouble or if I am going to be asked to do another task. Oh God, it is almost 5 o'clock and I don't want to have to stay late again. If I am in trouble I should apologize and say I will try harder next time. Maybe it is a raise? Probably not.
That is what I would think to myself.

You're going to get fired, get a promotion or talk about an incident in the office that wasn't too good or bad.

That he's going shift a whole pile of tasks/projects on me that he was supposed to take care of just before he leaves the country.

That he/she has something to say to you, that either for your benefit, or his/hers, he/she does not want to say in front of the rest of the staff. (Assuming there are other staff.)
If there are no other staff, there seem to be two possibilities....
a)That you are going to be asked or told something which will come as a shock and may upset or stimulate you emotionally.
b) He/she wishes to change the level of physical intimacy that exists between you.
I wonder what your fevered imagination would lead you to expect?

might be a bad or good news? i'll think positively rather than thinking negative. i might have impreesed my boss on my quality of work and needs to see me in his office for a promotion? or salary raised? otherwise, if it's something kinky, he would've asked me out.

Man what did I do now.
Thats always my first reaction, and I always get freaked out but its never that bad its always, you could improve on this or your doing a great job or I want you to start on this.

expletives. If she put something off all day and then wants to see me when I'm about to go I get ticked off. If I have somewhere to be though, I tell her and she snidely says "You always rush for the door."
