The only one you can count on is you. Friends and family or whoever can give you all the support you need, but whatever it is that needs to be done, forgotten, fixed, or established is only going to get done by you. You can pray all you want, to whatever you believe is out there (no matter what religion you are), but no all powerful deity is going to show up and fix or unfix anything, it all comes down to you and what you want to do about it, and what you're going to do about it.

Oh yeah and I learned don't drink tequila.

The absolute number one thing I have learned in life so far is GO WITH YOUR INSTINCTS!! Your 'gut' feelings are the best measure of what to do whether things are going right or wrong. Unfourtunatly, people don't tend to do that, because they would rather do what feels good, or what keeps them from making changes. (Most people despise change.)

Listen to your inner voice and you will lead a great life.

Taylor Caldwell (author of Captains and Kings) wrote: Time is inexorable.
I have learned that: Most things, good and bad, have an expiration date, with the notable exception of love.

the most important lesson I learn in my life is to lead a simple and sweet life forever

The best lesson so far is "let it go". it honestly doesn't matter how bad it was, let it go. If you can learn to forgive others and yourself, and not hold on to negative thought, memories or people you'll be much, much better off.

Have sex with more than one person before you get married, that way you can be sure your needs are met.

Live with someone a full year (at least) before marriage - it can be a deal breaker.
