sad but true, give a country a fish, they'll beg for more... teach a country to fish and they will declare independance. Bush will never allow Iraqi independance.

Saying that he enjoys it is going a bit too far. I think it's more of an inconvience for him, because it creates opposition to what he wants to do. The war is not just about oil, but Bushes attempt to privatize all aspects of our government. Bush is using Iraq as his "guinea pig" to see how a totally privatized government and infrastructure would work in running an entire country. This is not, in itself, a horrible idea. Unfortunately, the Bush Administration has been totally incompetent in providing any guidance or oversight to the companies being paid billions of dollars to rebuild the country and provide "services" to it's citizens (i.e., Halliburton, Blackwater, Custer Battles, Bechtel). And these companies have been fleecing the US treasury, while doing a terrible job of what they are supposedly being paid to do. Bush and his cronies are making out like bandits, and everyone else will be left holding the bill when he's done in 2008.

Having first hand experienced with much of what this topic is about...I can tell you with authority that much of the middle east suffers from extream ignorance and lack of education. Even the person who wrote this foolish question has infinately more education that much of that part of the world. Education is key, and right now most Iraqi's don't know the first thing about democracy or what we want them to be. It's as strange to them as living under tribal law would be to any of us. Think about it.
And as for the President...he is the president you all voted for him...and it takes a heck of a lot of work and smarts to get where he is, all you young people have to realize that -- no matter how he appears on TV or how poor he is at representing himself publically. The decisions he has to make he has to live with. I wish that job on nobody.

Wow. You are a very seriously disturbed individual. Do you even KNOW anyone who has lost a loved one in Iraq? I do - and she'd slap the snot out of you for such a hateful, ignorant post.
And no, she's not a huge Bush fan.
Edit - You don't believe the Iraqis want democracy?!? Holy ****, woman - did you miss the entire Iraqi election? We should take a page from THEIR book - they had a MUCH higher voter turnout than we do, and THEY were risking their lives to vote!

Bush Sr. and bill Clinton have faith the international could be superior via public provider. at the same time, they might entice additional money and interest for their reasons because of the fact each and every guy is popular by making use of separate communities and each has fairly diverse contacts in varied international locations. They show to US electorate that bipartisan cooperation continues to be obtainable and that they practice distant places electorate that the U. S. continues to be a great u . s . with leaders of excellent motive. it is likewise very possibly Bush Senior's way of poking his finger in his son's eye. He of course not approves of Junior's administration, and exceptionally his neo-conservative distant places coverage.

Did you miss the short bus this morning? Why are you politicizing the deaths in Iraq?
The Iraqi army is fighting. Why do you think the Brits are leaving in southern Iraq? Obviously you have no clue on what's going on over there.

This is the first "War for Profit" in the history of America.
There are no Iraqi fighting for Deocracy because they never asked anyone to help. Bush's war is for profit. Blackwater is a "privatized army for fun and profit" and the Republicans are protecting them all ((i cant fathom why)).

1) People can write whatever they want.
2) Oil was an OK motive, as instability in the middle east will cause our gas prices to sky rocket. Unless you like to walk everywhere.

I hate Bush thoroughly. I cannot express the rage I feel about that man. I've never hated someone I have never personally known in my life so much.
He's a total waste of a life.
