How did the good patriotic people of Nevada, a state with a strong history of self reliance and military support ever elect a far left liberal loon like Harry Reid as one of their Senators?

Edit: to D C Timberstone- Senators do not have districts. You're thinking of Representatives. Each State elects two Senators.

I suspect it's because of the lib Californians who are moving out of California due to the high taxes and liberal failed policy's and trying them again in NEV.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Nevada allows gambling, prostitution. There is even a website and publication known as Nevada Brothel Times

42 Girls under the age of 15 got abortions there last year.

There are zero army bases in Nevada and one air force base.

Nevada has 20 different categories of government run social services.

Demographics sir, same with Washington State and believe it or not California. rural and farmland "red" Metropolis "blue" Each member has a district and they are not always the same.
