PLAYBOY had an article by Marilyn's maid Lena Pepitoni who said Marilyn was lazy and often filthy in her private life. She had gross habits, e.g. loud flatulence that amused her. No man with class would want such a vulgar woman. Arthur Miller was often locked in his room working on his writing during their marriage. Joe DiMaggio was a baseball player, and it is impossible to gross out jocks.

I read a couple books years ago. I do not remember the titles, nor the names of the authors(I will try to find them), but I do remember they were both by people who had worked for Marilyn at one time or another. One was by one of her housekeepers. In it she describes how atrocious Marilyns hygiene was...Rarely ever bathing, leaving half-eaten food strewn around her bedroom, on the floor and on her bed, and the thing I find most repulsive of all: Not wearing sanitary napkins etc. while menstruating. It s pretty much a fact that Marilyn loved walking around nude at home, basically all of the time. NO big deal. EXCEPT that she did it while having her period. Her housekeeper states in the book that she had to follow her around constantly, cleaning blood off of the furniture Marilyn had been sitting on. UGH.

I read a book about Frank Sinatra that was written by a man that had worked for him for a number of years. In it, he said that Marilyn's hygiene was really bad and that was one reason that she and Frank never became a couple.

I've never heard that. I'm horrified because she was an icon of absolute beauty. 2D
