Vey possible. Many kids movies, shows, and cartoons have always had an adult angle to them. From Betty Boop as a shapely deer to Shrek to Father of the Pride, they may be aimed at kids, but some of goes over their heads to ours. Is this intentional or just how we, as adults, produce and/or interpret kids entertainment is another question.

You bet it did and that's why a lot of adults watched it
Same with Isis in the 70's. It was meant for kids, but the heroine was a hottie librarian type.
Wonder Woman....need I say more?
Xena, Warrior Princess...need I say more?
And it was "Greyskull"
AND, the cartoon Hercules was that way too. Herc never made a pass at Helena. I always thought the witch was a lesbian and Newton the centaur was queer as a plaid rabbit!
Mind you I watched em all!!

is that any different than how Wonder Women kept getting tied up in her series?
But, sorry, I've recently re-watched the series & I can't see any of that except that He-Man/Adam seems very uncomfortable with aggressive women (esp. She-Ra episode, "Sweet Bee's Home", where someone came on to him very hot & heavy. great animation there, though)

Well I don't remember all those details but I used to love to watch He-Man and She-Ra! Are you gonna say next that She-ra was gay for being a fighter? LOL

My kids watched He-Man, and I always thought there was something "not quite right" about the way he posed sometimes....never made the connection about the other stuff, though......

He-Man was very gay,,,,,,,,notice when he was ordinary how sweet talking he was and never would get with his friends daughter(can't remember names),,the only reason the Sorcerus gave him powers was to make him look and act more manly,,,he was still too big of a wuss to get rid of skeletor,,,,and I agree with your assessment to,lol

It's just like how Scooby-Doo had drug undertones, too. It's all okay, until you grow up and see it all for what it really is. Don't forget, Bug's Bunny was a cross dresser, too. =)
