does anyone know what beckett said to kenny lofton last night that made lofton go up to the mound and get in a verbal fight? i was waiting for punches but the ump did a good job keeping beckett away from lofton. but does ANYONE know what was said??

He was being a smart azz and it looked like he was saying, "YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" towards Lofton. That was pretty ignorant of him to do. They were complaining about him to get in the box the other night when the fans were going nuts for his first at bat. Then he rocketed a homer into right. And Boston still talks crap why?

Lofton flipped his bat is sort of a cocky way and Beckett didn't take it to kind and said "yeah" to Lofton and they got into an argument.

It was wrong, because young people are taught to respect their elders, and Beckett showed that he isn't very kindly to a fellow over the age of 99.

He yelled "yeah" at Lofton when he flied out after Kenny had flipped his bat (somehow thinking it was ball four) on the previous pitch that was right down the middle...as an aside I love how it's disrespectful if Manny watches his home run...but when Lofton flips his bat it's Beckett who is being disrespectful by saying something to Lofton...some of you Indians fans are nuts...to you it's Boston who is completely classless and out of line but the Indians are just completely upstanding and respectful...at least the Sox aren't selling World Series shirts already like the Indians are: http://blog.cleveland.com/plaindealer/2007/10/do_you_believe_in_jinxes.html

I wasn't really directing that towards you i_m_y_j_t...it was directed more towards some of the delusional bandwagon Indians fans that have jumped on here recently...I seriously wish both sides would shut up...Manny ALWAYS admires his home runs...Lofton ALWAYS flips his bat...no one is showing anyone up or disrespecting anyone...both sides need to shut up and play.
