Ten years ago there was a meeting in my village between the council and all the residents regarding the new super dooper central heating system they were proposing to put in. My son had to borrow a wheelchair to get me there as he couldn't get his car close enough. The heating was supposed to be more economical than gas and save us a fortune. Hahahahahaha! Don't make me laugh. Last winter from 2nd October onwards until May this year I was averaging 58 quid a fortnight in my heating! We can't even pay by Direct Debit, but have to take a card to the shop. I am disabled so don't usually keep money in my flat for obvious reasons, and also hated being obliged to people for fetching it for me all the time. Oops, sorry ranting. Anyway a meeting is going to be called in the New Year as the council has decided to replace it -doh!

New York State Supreme Court (county level--in New York the highest court is called the Court of Appeals) in an action caused by the censured and almost dis-barred "Judge" Douglas Mills, who almost killed a spectator in his courtroom by locking him up for a weekend, no habeus corpus, without his diabetes medicine.
