I was a true surprise. The idiot doctors told my parents that they couldn't have any more children. And then along came me. A few years later my mother played a practical joke on my father. He was sent to Okinawa with the Marine Corps. Several months after he was gone Mom had a friend take her picture with a small pillow under her dress, so that she looked about 6 months pregnant.
Dad was NOT amused.

Yes, I guess so. My parents wanted to have me. I think they thought a baby would make them happy.
