I had brain surgery for a "histiocytosis x" tumor on my pituitary gland.

I had Oral Surgery, to have my wisdom teeth cut out...but nothing like having an appendix taken out...

I've had eight surgeries:
- tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy
- appendectomy/removal of tumor
- right hemicolectomy
- hernia repairs (2)
- cesarean sections (2)
- anterior cervical discectomy
It wasn't easy, but I've fully recovered from each one. Had I been born a hundred years earlier, I'd have died of what ailed me. So, I feel very fortunate! Glad to be around. I hope your recovery was smooth. :)

I had 5 on my eyes before I was 1 1/2 years old..have had about 3 since then (Not on my eyes)

I had open heart surgery when I was 2 and a half. One side of my heart had not developed, so they had to go in and build up the muscle in it. I still have a scar from the bottom of my neck almost down to my belly button.

Yes, I had my left knee reconstructed when I was 25.
I tore the ACL in half, playing basketball, and let me tell you..
It was horrible. But I sure found heaven when I realized how much fun it was to mix booze with vicoden.
I'm getting close to needing the screws re tightened however. I'm sure not looking forward to that. (I'm almost 40)

Yes.
Torn ligament in my right ankle and an Infected vein removed from the left leg. Tonsils removed when I was 4.

Yes, I had my gallbladder out when I was 17 and then two months later had a grapefruit sized cyst taken off of my ovary.
