Is there a site that can walk me through auto repair, such as a water pump on an 94 Ford Windstar?

There are plenty of sites that will gladly charge you a fee to inspect the maintenance manual for your particular vehicle. The Autozone website just recently started posting complete maintenance manuals for many vehicles (particularly those from the early 90's). Steer on over to www.autozone.com and click on repair guides. You should find what you're looking for. If it's not detailed enough the full repair manual can be purchased for around $12 at most auto parts stores.

You're probably not going to like the amount of work involved in changing the pump on a van. It can be done in your driveway however, prepare a few hundred cuss words and a couple tools you can throw when necessary ;)

Hope this helps!

if you are going to do that I would change the timing belt/chain at the same time. you have to take all the same stuff off to ge to it. that will save you in the long run

Why are you changing it. Does it leak ? if so it needs replaced. If you are having an overheat problem DO NOT replace the pump, it is not the cause. The RADIATOR causes overheat .
