JUST WIN BABY: The Iraqis haven't instituted the Iraq Hydrocarbon Act legislation ...YET...that will allow companies like Chevron, Shell, Standard, Exxon and BP to get their greedy hands on Iraq's oil!!!!!
But even when they do why would they lower the cost????? This is about making them richer not the consumers!!!!

Bush does not control oil prices , No president has control of oil prices , But I will say when Bush was president many more people could afford to buy housing , many over spent and are in trouble from their own stupidity and not researching the meaning of the big words enclosed in the contracts for purchases of the new homes , they forgot the old saying of "read ,and understand everything before you sign " they did not do that and now they are in trouble........I bought a home when Clinton was in Control , the lowest interest rate I could get was 10.5% ..........which is what Hillary has said she would do , which is do away with the tax rate cuts of Bush , and take them back to the levels they were during Bills time as president ..Research the tax cuts by Bush , it was not tax cuts , it was a tax rate cut , on business , it was not a cut for the rich , if you do the research , you will find the top 1% of the richest pay an all time high in taxes , higher than they did under Clinton . the top 1% pay 27% of taxes , the othertop 49% pay 70% of taxes , and the lower 50% of incomes pay only 3% of taxes and get a refund ..So try to find another way to make Bush look bad .

Bush does not control oil prices , So tell me this ..Name one thing that Bush has done that has cost you more , not congress , not the house , tell me One thing GW Bush has done that has cost you right out of your pocket.......I'll wait ......

When I was in high school, 1950's and after my mustering out of the US Army, in the 1960's ETHEL gasoline was $0.179 to $0.199, per gallon. In 1969, BEFORE THE ARAB EMBARGO, Regular was $0.199 to $0.219 per gallon.
I home I bought in Victoria , Texas, in 1969, (3-2-2) was $12,250.00. Today that same home would appraise about $145,000.00. A new Chevy Pickup in 1975, in Abilene,Texas LOADED cost $3419.64, to day ?? I won't pay the new price !!!
IF I do not like the price, then I figure a way to do with something else !
Oil prices are a market driven commodity.
My question to all of the finger pointers is simply this ::: " WHY DON'T YOU BUY UP A BUNCH OF THE OIL COMPANY COMMON STOCK, AND YOU GET DIVIDENDS, FROM ALL OF THOSE GREAT PROFITS ????
How soon you buying??

The asking of this question drives Neocons crazy because they are going to say" The President doesn't control oil prices" but the truth is he can have a great deal of influence in oil prices by invading the middle east, any time you have war in the middle east oil prices will go up, now a Neocon can not see this just like they can't see how meddling in countries all over the world creates enemies not friends and also that we are not appointed the worlds police force, they just can't see it.

In January on 2000, gas cost me $1.22 a gallon. September 2001 gas cost me $1.37 a gallon. Last week it cost me $2.49 a gallon. I know this because I keep a notebook in my car and always write down how much gas I get and how much it cost, a habit it started back in my teens when my very first car was a junk with a broken gas gauge.

George Bush doesn't control the oil prices. I don't know where you got that information from or who told you that, but whoever it was they were either trying to fool you or they are just plain stupid.
