Why do most people in this world have poor judgment?
Why does a genuine cry for help get reported and deleted here on Y!A?
Can we stop being judgmental, can we take a moment to think and VERIFY things carefully before jumping into conclusions?

I don't think most people are prejuiced...comparing to the 1-2 people who reported this, there was a whole bunch more positive and helpful comments. The human mind is prone to thinking negativitely :/

It's a mixed blessing. In many cases, the ability to make fast judgements based on incomplete information is a survival tool. Often there simply isn't time to gather, let alone verify, all of the relevent information before making a decision.

Because each and every one of us has a certain belief in the way humanity should act. Whether it is right or wrong, liberal or conservative, black or white, many of these beliefs are ingrained within us from our Parents and Grandparents. Not all prejudice is wrong or unwarranted either. I am prejudiced against anybody who is a convicted child sex offender (any sex offender actually…) Is that wrong? I personally feel it is wrong to prejudice against a skin color or against the way a person looks though.

I believe most people are not prejudiced. For those that are, the explanation is usually ignorance or fear.

Lead by example
... if telling people what to do, and how to act is what you oppose, then don't do it yourself
just take what you need and leave the rest

I don`t think i know anyone that is prejudice. I have friends of all color.
