Hi,
I wanted to know what would the products be when ethanoic acid reacts with 2-propanol

CH3COOH + HOCH(CH3)2 -> CH3CO-OCH(CH3)2
the OH group on ethanoic acid and H on the 2-propanol form water, it is a condensation reaction.

An ester. The name is ethyl-2-propanoate or isopropyl ethanoate

the product would be isopropyl acetate.
