If the leak is coming from the back of the shower head then remove it from the pipe coming through the wall and wrap Teflon tape around the threaded end of the pipe and reinstall the head. Teflon tape is available at every hardware and home center usually for under $2.00. If this doesn't work then replace the head. There is a big differance between the shower head and the shower valve.
