In the US system, a British 2:1 (upper second class honour) degree would be roughly equivalent to about a 3.3 or a 3.5 GPA, out of a 4.0 scale, from a reputable school. So that's maybe about an 85, 90 or higher on a scale from 100.

A 2:1 in the UK is one of the higher grades for an honours degree. Just having an honours degree isn't enough. Would your degree be sufficient to be accepted onto a graduate program in Canada? If so, it's probably sufficient for the UK. If not, it probably isn't.
