What was the Dumbest / Worst Lie you ever fell for?

Actually I have a good one for you: The worst was this real estate developer that my friend set me up with. I was 2 weeks short of finishing college for my real estate licence, and I was really excited at the prospect of working on this development since my boyfriend of 2 years (who I helped put through college) had up and dumped me too, and he and I had been planning to team up together once I finished my course too, but I guess he had different plans in the end. He just said sorry I don't want to do this anymore, ciao.

Anyhow I had been with my girlfriend who was looking to buy a house and we had gone looking at the model home in a new subdevelopment.

Later my friend tells the guy that I was 2 weeks short of getting my real estate licence and he says tell her to come see me I may have a job for her on site. I thought wow, that was 2 percent commission for just sitting there and clients coming to you. I was ecstatic!! I couldn't believe something good was finally happening. I was just hanging by a thread and this was just what I needed.

My stupidity. Ends up the job came with a price, and yes you can pretty well imagine what that was can't you? He more or less said if you want to work for me this is what you have to do. That was the straw that broke this camel's back.

I quit everything, college, the job I had been doing to pay for it, and just went into a major depression for some time. I was only 19 at the time too. It was hard. I never put my eggs into anyone's baskets after that and never will.

It's water under the bridge but some things are just beyond dispicable.

I walked inbetween the computerized commencing doors at walmart (there became into glass) i presumed that it became right into a door, and that i presumed it may open for me... and that i finished up walking precise into it! and then i attempted to pull it open :0 lol!!! The previous guy that became into working as a greeter got here visiting and says "omit!!! that may no longer a door." in all danger whilst i became into on the Animals shelter I have been given in this weird and wonderful cat playhouse element with diverse memories... and that i became into Barking and Growling at all people who exceeded via... just to freak em out till they found out it became into purely me.

When he said he wanted me in his life, and wanted me to move in with him, and I sold everything I owned and moved here to San Antonio from North Carolina and waited for him to return from Iraq.....and when he did, he dumped me without explanation......and then 5 months later married somebody else......

I've made a life here without him.......but I will NEVER get over what he did to me.......
