Tickle means to stimulate. Fancy is often translated in the queen's English as desire. Fancy in America is most commonly used as an Adjective as in fancy do-nuts. In England it's mostly used as a verb. Such as " Do you fancy a glass of water. "Do you "desire" a glass of water".

To tickle someone's Fancy means to stimulate interest in someone's desires.

It's that easy.

Your making me feel old!!! It just means to catch their eye or make them happy/ brings pleasure. If a woman dresses up for a date & walked by someone she could "tickle their fancy". If a woman made a homecooked meal she could "tickle her husbands fancy". It depends how it's used.

It means they don't really want to like you - but just can't help liking you extremely because... you tickle their fancy.

"Fancy" in this case means a liking for. Such as "She fancied Rodney." To tickle someone's fancy is to please them in a way that will make them feel more favorably towards your or like you a bit more.

"My bold compliment tickled her fancy."
