Hi there

This doesnt necessarily mean you arent pregnant but that is a possibility.

You can have positive test this early and then not go on to be pregnant, which is possible is what could be happening here.

The other option is that you are still pregnant and it could be "implantation bleeding" which you can get when the embryo burrows into the womb lining.

You need to do a repeat test to see if it is still Positive - that will tell you alot for a start. If it is and you continue to bleed, it would be worth seeing your GP to check it is not a sign of anything more serious like an ectopic pregnancy. They may send you for an early scan to check.

If it is negative then I would assume that this time it was not to be Im afraid.

On a positive note, I bled for the first 11 weeks of my pregnancy and I now have a healthy toddler running around, so there is hope.

I would seek your GP's advice anyway, to be on the safe side and to set your mind at rest.

Hope you get the outcome you want. x

Some women experience some spotting very early on in the pregnancy that is completely normal and is what is called "implantation bleeding". This should occur in the first two weeks or so of pregnancy. If you're experiencing bleeding, and you think you are pregnant, take another pregnancy test, you may have miscarried (it's very, very common to miscarry so early into a pregnancy that a lot of women have several of them in their lifetimes and never even know it). If you take another test and it comes up positive, or if you get another iffy answer, and you're still bleeding, go to see your doctor, you may be suffering from an extreme hormonal imbalance (called a chemical pregnancy), or you might have a high-risk pregnancy.

You can have your period and still be pregnant. A lot of women on here I have seen reply that they were on their period while they were pregnant.

It is RARE but it DOES happen.
