$90 dollars, shouldn't gas be higher already?

I'm living in a place now that it's almost an island and depends mostly on tourists_most of which have already left for the season, and businesses seem to be waiting for the other tourists, the older ones that seem to come here this time of year, to start showing up. And this is only explanation I can find for how low gas is in this area...I recall when first I moved here less than four months ago, there was great disparity in prices between this place and rest of the county.

I got to see almost 50 cents more per gallon in a couple of gas stations! So seeing it now between $2.95 and $3.25, I wonder how low it could be in other parts of county and around the country in general!

It's about $2.77 to $2.89 in Las Vegas. I just returned from California where I saw a range from $2.99 in Gilroy to $3.59 in Baker.

Around 2.95 to 3.10 in Utah. We're too lazy to search for the lowest prices so competitive pricing is pretty much nonexistent.
