I'm asking this because, I'm puzzled with me, I'm a gay girl, and when I see an attractive guy, I do check him out and think he is good looking and then I get confused and dont know what to feel towards him, its so weird I cant explain it, I sometimes feel envious or jelouse or something, its kinda driving me insane....I know i love women in that way, I just dont know what to do about my attraction to guys tho, I dont know how to explain it,I dont know what to feel towards them or how to feel.... is it just admiring the body? I'm very confused....
Any thoughts? Or similar feelings/experiences?

I'm gay and don't find women attractive, but I still like looking at beautiful girls.
It doesn't matter what orientation you are--if someone is good looking, no matter what the gender is, you're going to notice. Even though I'm gay, I still think my history teacher is one of the most beautiful women I've seen. I like looking at her because of her symmetrical features, her comely body, and her pretty face.
However, I thought my photography teacher last year was one of the most beautiful men I'd ever seen (and my mom agrees with me!). But there was a difference in why I would stare at each of them.
I find my history teacher beautiful and I APPRECIATE that beauty. I found my photography teacher beautiful and I was ATTRACTED to him. The difference was my history teacher is AESTHETICALLY attractive to me while my photography teacher was SEXUALLY attractive.
As I stated above, no matter what the gender of the person is or what your orientation is, you can still recognize a beautiful person when you see one--just like you can recogrnize a beautiful painting. You can stare at a beautiful painting for a while because you can recognize and appreciate its aesthetic value, but it's not like you're going to be sexually attracted to a painting. Even the most macho, heterosexual, homophobic guys out there will still be able to recognize a good looking guy when they see one--you don't have to be sexually attracted to someone to be able to appreciate that person's beauty.

I'm not a gay man...lol, I think you know that quite well at this point, but I find guys attractive all the time. How else would I be pregnant with Gareth's baby? I jest.
I think White Knight has it right. The attraction that I feel towards guys isn't sexual, it's an aesthetic admiration. Generally when I find a guy attractive, I find the same qualities in him that I find attractive in women, only devoid of that "wow" factor. I find tall, skinny guys with soft faces and funky hair the most appealing. Musicians and artists are especially attractive to me.
I think it's natural and normal to notice beauty in everyone.

As my CHOICE is to be gay,I do find some women attractive and I entertain certain deviant fantasies from time to time.But it does not change my preferences.That is a natural instinctive reaction and I never supress anything like that.That girl will have to be a thin tomboy type to catch my eye,but they do exist.Ha!Ha!Dont be confused,just roll with what comes naturally.Dont hide feelings or emotions.Embrace them as the wonderful gifts we are given.

When I see a attractive girl I admire her hair and clothing. It is like looking at a pretty picture. I admire things a girl does a straight guy could not even begin to express.

I feel nothing toward women -- and don't particularly know which ones are "attractive" -- the extent of my review of a female might be to consider whether her clothing is elegant or not. That's really it. Sorry.

I am a gay man, and yet I adore women. I always comment on whether a girl is attractive or not, and yeah, I do usually give them the once over (that sounds worse than I intend it to!) I have to say that I LOVE breasts. I can't explain why, I just...do. It doesn't make me straight, or even bisexual for that matter.

When I see an attractive woman, I know that she's hot. I'll even tell her that. I have no problem with it. Women are beautiful, but I just can't imagine having sex with them. I can appreciate her curves, legs, bust, etc...I just know what beauty is.

I'll often think "Ohhh, she's really pretty," but I've noticed that the women I think are "really pretty" are not the same women my straight guy friends think are "hot". (For example, Kim Cattrall, Stacy from What Not To Wear, Debra Messing...)
