Girls would you be mad about this?

Question

When I was with my ex for seven months, we were laying down together and suddenly she brings up the topic, w./out saying the actual word.

She says, "If you had a son and the doctor asked you if you wanted to cut off his skin, would you do it?" Obviously, she knew I was un-circumcised at that point from previous months.

I said 'yes' to that Q b/c of infections if you're not and most guys are. Then I turned it around and asked her. She said, "I don't know. I don't have one..." and giggled. She remarked, "I heard that, too" regarding infections.

She went on to say shortly after, "Did you ever wish you had the skin cut off [of your penis]?"

So I took this as she preferred me to be "cut." So few days later I make an appt to be circumsized. Finally it was booked 2 1/2 mos. later and I had the procuedure.

Thing is, I was kinda too embarassed to tell her...so I didn't. Girls would you be mad/hurt if your bf didnt tell you about this? She never did find out bc we broke up few says after.

I think one of your mistakes was "taking" her remark as meaning that she preferred something. I think you should've asked her point blank. I also think that a man should make his own choice, and it sounds like she probably agrees, based on her remark "I don't have one..."

I did not have my son circumcised, because I felt it was inhumane the way they do it to babies. I figured if he needed it done, or it was important to him, he'd have it done at a point in time when they at least use anasthaesia. He's 18, and has not complained to date. However, I don't know how much he'd tell his mother, as he's a rather private person.

my husband is not cicumsized and my ex was. i never seen a man that was not cut until i met John and i am 31 yrs old. him not being cut does not bother me one bit!! My first son i had it done to causr my ex wanted it done, but my second son i did not have it done and he has not had any problems you just have to keep it a little cleaner under the skin. when they get older they will find out they have more sexual feeling then cut men. it all on what you believe in. But as a women it dont matter to me.

wow so you didnt ask her 1st if she rather have you cut?
What does it relaly matter?
If yoru not together, then u shouldnt be worried about telling her.
If you were together then you should have told her the moment you made the appointment. relatinships works when you have open commuciation, now matter how embarassing it is or hard........

but yes, i would be mad if my bf didnt tell me he was going to do it then all of a sudden he's cut....

I think honesty is important between couples so yes I would be upset not being told..
Would love to hear more about your before and after tho as my husband has commented on having it done himself even tho I have said not to...

I think you made a huge mistake!

But then again you'lll never know with her but sex will feel different for you and less good for the girl but either way you're stuck with it ....

And Yes I'd be extremely upset!

I would prefer it if my boyfriend would tell me if he was having a medical procedure done, especially if he was doing it to please me. Then again, I would never ask my boyfriend to do something like that. As long as a guy keeps himself clean, I have no problems with him being uncircumcised.

It is your body and you can do what you want with it but before you go out with someone else I would tell them about it just to be safe.
