and should be left to the few who know best?

Well....I know of at least one very influential world leader who agrees with him 100%. In fact Bush has his full support on virtually all of his policies...from eavesdropping warrantlessly, to warmaking, to torture..etc...

So...please, leave Bush alone, he is our leader and he knows best!!!

Secretive government is an anathema to democracy.

Especially for a country that does not torture, of course we don't torture, we just change the definition of the word until we don't

Listening to Bush IS torture. But then I would never agree with him under any circimstances anyway.
And again, torture does not work. It never has.
Its interesting how many people seem to want to justify it. -
but so many of the Bush supporters are barbarians anyway - they like starting wars and torturing people.

I agree that

for leaders who try to secretly torture people
who have not even been charged with a crime
in undisclosed locations,

it is probably VERY difficult to discuss in public.

I think It is retarded to be against torture

When proprerly regulated (as I trust America to do) it can be a valuable resource for saving lives.
