Where is the main stream media in reporting this???...I haven't seen a word all morning....if this was pointing out the incompetence of the republicans in the senate it would be all over the news...why the silence??

honestam...since when did results mean anything??...the libs have all kinds of programs that are disasters, over budget, bloated, wasteful...yet their intentions were good so we're not suppose to talk bad about them...Rushs intentions are good so why are you bad mouthing him??......oh, and don't worry..he WILL live up to what he said..thats the difference between libs and conservatives.

Because they are still working on a way to get a "Bush is evil" angle out of it.
If they can't then they'll bury the story.
PS Don't forget - Rush is matching the total! When was the last time Al Gore raised $4.2 million for the troops? :)

Your question states the obvious.
Have you noticed too that since the military effort in Iraq has been going so well you've barely heard a peep about it? Back when things were bad they were shoveling the stories on us. Now that things are going well, you wouldn't even know that there's a war on.
What does that tell you about our media and where their interests lie? Cut to Harry Reid and Yellow Dog Murtha. Haven't heard a peep out of them either. They'll ***** and complain when things aren't going well, but the least they could do would be to cheer these guys on when we're making such progress. But no. They won't do that. It doesn't play to their agenda.

I can't believe that we, as a country, have allowed people like Reid, Murtha, Clinton, Pelosi and the list goes on, to turn our country into a mashed potato!! Where is our pride?? You can't watch the news without getting the "reporters" bias perspective of the world according to the political party he is selling!! If Reid and the other Senators really care, let them match Rush's donation to the charity. - - But I doubt seriously that they will.
Even a token donation of 1000.00 dollars would show some compassion but I doubt they have any kind of compassion at all for those who serve.
