There is really not a lot of support for their team in Arizona, and you might also want to add that the Diamondbacks play in one of the most beautiful ball parks in baseball and the fans still don't come. Life goes on.

It's very sad. I asked a question on this last week. The D-Backs have no support there. The few fans there were not the least bit energetic either. Meanwhile 90% of the Indian, Red Sox, Rockies and almost everyone else were unable to get tickets.

A big reason that Arizona can't fill a stadium is that a big part of their population is not native to that area and is generally made up of retirees, etc. I still think it is amazing that even though they may not be fans of the local team that they were not interested in championship baseball. I am in Colorado Springs and am going to attempt to get tickets, just because it is the World Series. How many opportunities will a person get to see games that matter? D-Backs may want to consider moving to Anchorage, because I am pretty sure that Alaska could get folks out to see MLB games.

It's really BS at Fenway because the stadium doesn't even have that many total seats which drives of prices even higher if you by online. They actually sell some standing room tickets.

I totally agree with you. I saw that last night's attendance in Cleveland was 102.7% capacity due to SRO tickets. I'm sure Fenway's stats are comparable.
