Yes but only on an emotional level. If you can be rational about it, then no. I think the way it is delivered is important.
There is no need to be cruel or to make personal attacks.
It shows a lack of care and concern. I'm trying to be more tactful and considerate myself when I deliver criticism.
But really you should look at it as a way to improve and grow.
As long as we are human then we will make mistakes.
But mistakes are the best way to learn and remember. :)

Absolutely! Imagine how the self-esteem of a person who's the one doing the criticism, he or she just wants to bring you down with them!

Not really, I can take criticism constructively. However, insults wear down self esteem awfully bad.

nope....it can only affect you if YOU let it. And I don't. If it good criticism I'll listen.....either accept or deny based on my final conclusion of myself. See....thats the best part....you have the final decision to believe that its true or to know that it is not....because who knows you better than you! The problem that most people have is with THEMSELVES putting themselves down....not others......think about it!

No. I thrive off of criticism. It makes me who I am, I think that it is one of my better qualitys, to be able to accept criticism and form it into a possitive.
