What has he done to make anyone feel this way? Is it just jealousy? I mean, I can see hating the Pats for rivalry reasons but hating on Brady doesn't make much sense to me. Can anyone enlighten me?

I don't like him 'cause he such a pretty boy kind of guy he loves media attention and he always looks like he took too much time to try to look good and that is not what football should be about. Peyton is not a good-looking he just plays great football, he spends hours going over film trying to get better for his team and his fans, that's time Brady probably spends on his hair, plus the whole thing with his love life. Football is a working man's sport at heart. Brady isn't necessarily flashy on the field but he's flashy off. Only WRs really can get away with being flashy and a lot of people still don't like it when they're flashy. That is one of the reasons Vick was disliked, he was really flashy on the field. Vince Young is a running QB but he isn't all that flashy so he's more well liked than Vick. Brady is a flashy pretty boy, that is one reason why he's disliked. Oh and the fact that he is on the Pats, people either love 'em or hate 'em. Personally i hate the Pats, probably because I'm a Colts fan.

I'm a Steelers fan, and I don't hate Tom Brady at all. I don't like it when he rally's New England to beat the Steelers, but I also have enough class to take my hat off to any player/team that flat out beats mine on the field. As far as Brady's talent is concerned, I think that's hard to judge. He's had the benefit of being on a good to great team his entire career, so I'd be curious to see if he could succeed for a team like like the Lions or Cardinals. I do know that you don't win 3 Superbowl's because you were an average quarterback though. That said, I think you're choice of words is appropriate...many fans out there are jealous of his success.

So much ignorance in these answers. Overrated? 3 superbowl rings. If that gets you overrated, I would hate to see what you think of Dan Marino, Dan Fouts or even Favre, because he only has one. Brady only had a real threat RB for one of the superbowls that he one which was Corey Dillon when they beat the Eagles. The others, he had scary backs like Antowain Smith and Kevin Faulk. He also has never had any playmaking recievers until Moss this year. Don't even try to tell me what you think that David Givens and Branch are great WRs.

Joe Montana was in the West Coast offense, so was he a system QB. Gimme a break.

Brady is a very accurate passer who has a strong enough arm to make all of the throws. He rarely makes mistakes, and he plays well in big games. What else can you want from a QB?

People say that he is the best of all time. Right now maybe not, but if he wins a couple more superbowls, he will be in the conversation.

Look at his contemporary rival, Peyton Manning. Peyton has a hall of fame WR to throw to and Reggie Wayne is no slouch. He also had Edgerrin James to take the load of of him. Don't forget Dallas Clark and even Addai now. Who has had more weapons at their disposal? You are flatout wrong if you so Brady. Who had a history of coming up small in big games until last year? Manning. In fact, he even played poorly in the first 2 playoff games last year. I guess that Manning is overrated too then.

Look at the stats on this link. They are ridiculous.

And don't give me that cheating thing. To say that that is responsible for all of his success is just ignorant.

I am not a Patriots fan, but I know a top 10 QB of all time with a bullet when I see one.

Well, I just do, it's my constitutional right in the greatest country in the world to hate whoever I want. And a team called the Patriots should be able to understand and accept that. I don't really hate anyone, but I don't like the team, I don't like the coach, I don't like the owner, and I don't like anyone who puts on a patriots uniform. Hey, I couldn't stand Bledsoe until he went to play for the Bills. Some people are just passionate about their disdain for a team, and any player who makes that team better is going to be disliked, pure and simple.

Tom Brady overrated? WOW, I don't even have a response for that, its completely absurd. Forget records, forget wins, forget receivers... fact of the matter is that Tom Brady wins the big games and doesn't crumble like other "big time" quarterbacks (Manning, Romo, Palmer, etc...), that in my opinion puts him at the top of the list as far as active quarterbacks are concerned. Call me crazy, but 3 super bowl rings, a 12-2 playoff record, 2 time super bowl MVP, and last but not least a 21-2 TD/INT ratio with only the 6th week in the books doesn't sound like numbers of an overrated quarterback to me.

People love a winner but they hate somebody that can't lose and has achieved success beyond anybody elses accomplishments.

Tom Brady is argueably the best QB in the NFL, he has led the Patriots to 3 Superbowl wins, he is extremely good looking and would make millions as model if he never played football and he dates the most beautiful women on earth.

People are jealous and that is about it.

they are jealous, pure and simple.. jealousy and hatred go hand in hand.... Tom Brady is all they are not...

he's not bad looking, has a great career as an NFL player, will likely be in the Fooball Hall of Fame, he has 3 superbowl rings, dated a Hollywood actress for some time, and when she broke things off with him, (folks gloated and said he'd be off his game, which he wasn't) then he traded up for a Victoria's Secret model, he's having the best year of his career, on a winning team, he's smart and he has money...... that's a lot for folks to be jealous of.....

he's the man most of the haters would love to become...

It's jealousy. I guess that's naturally what happens when someone is number 1 at something, people get jealous. And this is coming from a Cowboys fan. Hopefully we'll see him and the Pats again in the Superbowl.

Because some people like to talk tough over the internet when they're safely tucked away at home. If they ever met Brady they wouldn't try anything.

LSU Balls, great answer! LOL!

I dont hate the guy, I just dont respect him. And I think he is highly overrated. He is a system QB, that would fail outside of New England and until we learn otherwise all of his accomplishments are tainted and in my opinion not credible because of spygate. I truly do think the camera's played a bigger role in Brady's success then Pats fans would like to admit. And his fans make him out to be the best thing to ever play QB but they wont admit his flaws. They even glorify him having a kid out of wedlock.
