Oh, lord. I am Jewish, and when someone says Merry Christmas, I wish it right back. I send my Christian friends Christmas presents, and to my Jewish friends Hanukkah gifts. (They love the socks). Oh, yeah, I am a Democrat, but I am sick of the Happy Holiday greeting. It is Christmas season, starting in July and ending with the sales through January. Hanukkah is celebration of a miracle. Christmas is the birth of the Christian Savior. It is a very important holiday for Christians. Me, I light the Hanukiah, commonly called a menorah. Hanukkah is not in any way like Christmas. It has gained importance so Jewish girls and boys can get gifts when the Christians kids are getting them. Its real it exists, but it is not Passover or the High Holidays.
Then comes Kwanzaa, which is made up in the 1960's.
So, this year, Bush will light the Christmas tree, a Hanukiah, which the news people will call a menorah, the even the what ever the Kwanzaaites call their candle thing.

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

He can't be impeached for saying "Merry Christmas." The only impeachable offenses are listed in the Constitution, and saying "Merry Christmas" is not one of them.

And "Feliz Navidad" IS "Merry Christmas."

I left the democratic party about halfway through B. Clinton's first term. The Democratic party's refusal to impeach him for starting a war on false pretense is a good indication of why I haven't gone back.

Whereas I am not a Bush supporter, I don't think they have the balls to offer 'im a peach, let alone impeach him.

Why would Bush say "Merry Christmas?" He's obviously not a Christian.
