Rena i like this question. First let me say two things: the bible says that "surely your sins shall find you out......"

in short, u will have to give an account for your actions or as you say, "pay sooner or later." in my country they have a proverbs which say

"day does run till night catch it"

u can get away with something in life, and in some ways we all have, be it a little "white" lie we told or taking something which is not ours, we all have done things in which we feel confident that we have fooled others but at the end we only deceive ourselves.

in the end we all pay for what we thought we can get away with.

so yes Rena we can get away with things in life, but sooner (no matter how long it takes) we have to pay and will be held accountable, be it to our family, friends, the law, God, and ultimately to ourselves.

Hi Rena, i am a strong believer in Karma. If a individual person spends his whole time being wicked. and using people for his own gains. I do believe that God will pay the blind fool back. No one on this Earth is free from punishment. Also being good and serving God can bring positive result. To gain wisdom and become more humble..

Yes, I do... there is an expression that says "You get as good as you give." The biblical proverb is "You reap what you sow." And there's the more cynical "Payback's a B****!" Drama queens get drama, people who hurt others for fun end up abandoned and alone. It takes time, but oh, yes, there is always a price to pay.

If it is negative, it will definitely come back to bite you in the rear end, no doubt. It may be tomorrow, next year, ten years from now, but it will catch up with you. If it is something that you don't want to hurt someone and are protecting them, this is another story. My family is always "don't tell mom" syndrome, and you know what, I usually find out through one of my kids, "I didn't want to tell you this, but . . . ., or don't say anything, but . . . . . ". They are just too honest! No one in my family can keep a secret! You gotta love them!

YES.

I am 43 and am paying now for all my choices when I was in my 20's i.e. not finishing college, marrying wrong guy etc. About the only thing I don't regret is the incredible daughter I have.

Not just believed but experienced it too all my life. You too can feel that if you choose to rewind all that happened in your life and view it objectively. But the price I pay for all my bad decisions/actions help in cleansing my soul/conscience. So I bear it stoically, almost welcoming......

I believe that without a doubt, what goes around will come around, it may take a while but we all eventually pay for the things that we do!!

You seem to ask the right questions.......it shows that you are seeking & learning. To answer your question, yes I do believe it. It is 'cause & effect'. You see from my perspective, since we are all one, there is no separation between cause and effect. There is no they and us, me & you.......we cannot escape the causes we make because we are at the same time experiencing the effect instantaneously.

Thank you for your question and letting me answer it.

PS: Still here in Japan, and cannot answer as many questions as I used to.

no i do not. god has everything happen to you for a reason and lets things happen not make them happen. if you do bad on earth and sin and dont confess then you will pay the price after death.(hell) but if you believe in god and cofess your sin and live with him you willhave eternal life(heaven) heres two great verses.
for god so loved the world he gave his one and only son for whoever believed in him should not perish but have eternal life.
and the other one:johns 15-17 read this one and remember the other one!good luck!
