Im asking this because I asked my 8 yr old neice, to check the time for me last night..and she told me it was 50 cents after 8..I then said, you mean 8:50..she says no auntie, it's 50 cents after 8. she said, cuz her teacher taught her that when it's 15 minutes after the hour, you can say it's a quarter after..so she said she figured if it's 30 minutes after the hour that she can say 50 cents, 75 cents (8:45) and so on....and i just couldn't stop laughing..i thought it was the cutest thing ever..

Well here are a few that I can think of off of the top of my head. I have a 3 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. One day I was making my daughter a grilled cheese sandwich and my son wanted something to eat also so I asked him if he would like a grilled cheese sandwich and he said no he didn't want a girl- cheesed sandwich because he is a boy he said that he wanted a boy cheese sandwich. He thought that I was saying girl not grill I thought it was the funniest thing and even when we go out to eat and too this day he calls it a boy cheese. One day my daughter and I went to the grocery store to but hamburger meat and when we were in the car on the way home she was reading the package and it said ground beef. She asked "Mom is this really ground beef?" I said "Yeah why?" She said well I never seen a beef plant. (she thought that the beef came from the ground "ground beef") Ad one other time my daughter saw a man with a women's shirt one and she asked mom if a girl that dresses like a boy is a tomboy does that mean when a guy that dresses like a girl is a tom girl? I thought that was very funny. Kids say the best things because they take everything at face value. I am going to miss this as they get older.

My younger brother at age 5 went to a haunted house once.. and the monsters inside tore up his costume and he was so mad after he broke out the exit he ran back into the house mad that the monster that he thought was real tore his costume .. He called them all Crazy Motha F--kas.. speed ahead today.. that boy is now 18 and a Martial Arts instructor 4 degree black blet and 2 time world champion.. he was taking Martial arts than.. but after that he was not scared of monster but started Kicking and punchin them out ever Halloween .. So before he was granted to go inside the owners alway had to make sure that we would not allow him to take off on the monster.. lol funny cause these are grown men in costumes afraid of my brother who earned the nick name.. My grand daughter was very intelligent and naughty. She was in her 1year 8 months, age. When we were talking with her by Phone, she suddenly felt, that she was not having mood to talk. So she said,"I have no mood now to talk". Another time, she said the phone connection was cut, telling so she pressed and cut the phone. We thought that it was an interruption. But a little later my son told that it was the mmischief of our Grand daughter, who had disconnected and said so.

When my son was three years old and for some reason learning curse words he said a cuss word at the babysitters. When we were driving home I confronted him about it. I informed him that I did not want to ever hear him say that word so he said, "Okay then Daddy I will just say it when you are not around."

OUCH!!
