Lets see. I am a liberal, I work full time and will graduate next spring with a masters degree. I pay for my own health care and take responsibility for my own actions, which is more than can be said for repubs. Looking back at Bush's history it is proven he couldn't even balance a till at the end of a shift let alone run the country. I don't see how a Dem or as you call them, hippie liberals, could do any worse. After all, during the last hippie libs term we had a record surplus, not a record deficit. You and your cohorts on Y!A always accuse liberals of being pot smokers. At least pot has a medical use unlike that moonshine and meth you southern redstaters like to use.

Go up to Sunnyvale / Mountain View California, AKA Silicon Valley. Drive around and look at all the booming business's,... see all those huge factories ? Those were started, and staffed, by "Hippie Libs".
I'd guess, if those folks can run the businesses of tomorrow, they're certainly qualified to run yesterday's business, like the Oil Industries, and when a solution comes for the Health Care crisis, it will probably originate in Northern California, Oregon, or Washington. I damn sure won't come from close-minded people like you !

Let's face it - doing a better job than you lot did can't exactly be hard now can it?

We saw what Bush did when he had the opportunity.
Results:
Starting a war, that should not have been waged.
Borrowing billions of dollars from China.
Devaluing the dollar in foreign markets.
Not supporting the SCHIP program.
His staff exposing a CIA operative. who disagreed with him.
Commuting Scooter Libby's sentence.
Threatening Iran.
Lack of diplomatic skills.

lets stick with blue state red state for a moment.
the so called hippie libs inhabit blue areas.
blue areas are urban.
blue areas have more money.
blue areas have more jobs
blue areas have higher educations.
blue areas pay the tab for red areas(republican/conservative).
red areas take more federal money than they contribute in taxes
when will the people in red areas pull themselves up by their bootstraps and wean themselves of their dependence on liberal largesse?

we need to not run oil industries and allow alternate energy sources to be used!! you know they are there, we just can't gain easy access to them because the bush has his hands to far into the oil companies payroll!
i'm done using oil!
