why answer the question when you see it was not even considered. No wonder people in other countries look down on the u.s. we can't even select a right answer when its given to you. you can research material and the person asking the question will pick a answer like -who cares,or some other dumb answer

Comfort and reward yourself yourself with this: If one person, and only one person, benefits from your answer (and it may not be the asker) then you have made a great contribution and given a great gift.

Just because the asker does not see the merit and value in your answer doesn't mean someone else reading the question and answers won't. No, you won't get points from that person, but your Karmic points will be immeasurable if you have touched their life. Early this summer I received a message from someone who had seen an answer I had given (it had not been selected as best) and thanked me, as it had made a positive impact on their life. I'll take that over 10 crappy Yahoo points any day!

Wow, that's a rather simplistic way of looking at things. I am sure that there are far better reasons people living in foreign lands do not like the United States and there are many people who are out there who do like the United States. But imposing your personal view points onto others is rather egotisitical of yourself. Sorry, but I do not see the world through your rose colored glasses; nor do I care to!

Have a good weekend.

The person asking the question chooses the answer he/she understands the best or is the answer they were looking for. Yes, there are people who answer stupidly and you can choose to give them a "thumbs down". Not everyone in this world is perfect but don't judge everyone on those stupid few.

Are you answering questions to help, not only the asker, but anyone else who reads the answers? Or are you doing it only to get 'points', or credit for it? Sounds like the second one to me.

If you're saying people in other countries look down on the US because the US doesn't get credit for the good it does - I have to agree with you on that one.

Good morning...... :)

Having a bad day?

You can't help the "bigoted ways" of others, keep the faith, and believe me, if you answer one of my questions, with factual, and researched, answers, I'll pick yours as the best.....
