Two part question. Is it ok for a wife to buy sexy underwear but not wear them around her husband or even let him know that she has them? Also, if a wife was having problems with orgasm with husband and tried on her own and was successful, is it ok for her not to let the husband know that she was successful in having an orgasm by herself. The husband did not find out until about 7 years later. Mature answers appreciated.

Why should a woman have to tell her husband she is able to bring herself to orgasm...That's the way it is period with or without a man. The man does NOT bring her to orgasm. A woman can wear whatever type of underwear she chooses to wear and doesn't have to consult her husband. Sounds to me as if this husband has a bruised ego.

Why would you not want to model the sexy underwear for your husband? I would think something like that would be a turn on for the marriage. I don't have orgasms through intercourse alone, but I have shown him how to give me the 'big kahuna'. He loves giving me pleasure. actually it's kind of strange for her to buy sexy underwear and not wear them around her husband...and obviously she let him know she was successful by herself, but she doesn't need to keep track and let him know everytime!!! it seems like they don't have good communication in the relationship....and should open up to one another, sit down and talk about sex and what they want from the other- then maybe she could pleasure herself while he lies next to her or involves himself in some little way- so she can feel comfortable orgasming around him....

She bought the sexy underwear for herself, i don't know why she hid it from you maybe she felt you would think differently about her. The orgasm she probably didn't tell you b/c she was ashamed of herself or didn't want to hurt your feelings.
Suggestions: If still married, open your Se* life to new and exciting things see what she likes and let her know you are willing to satisfy her needs and are comfortable with it maybe she won't hide these things from you. Ok...if I buy sexy underwear it's usually to wear it for my fiance. A nice suprise. I would be a little suspicious about that one.
The orgasm situation, it may not be anything negative. She may have found a way to pleasure herself and been embarrassed to tell you that. Sadly, alot of women do this instead of telling their partner what will make them orgasm...leading to a sex life that is lacking.

She should be buying those sexy underwear for her and your eyes only. Yes she should prance around you wearing them and if they make her feel sexy that is a plus. She does not have to tell you that she has been having orgasm by herself however she should of told you how she wanted it and how she likes it. She was only hurting herself by not telling you and wasting her time. Sex is very important in a relationship but communcation is needed in order to have a great sex life.

I wouldn't tell my husband that I bought new underwear (sexy or otherwise). But I probably would wear them for him, but I guess it depends. I might buy them to feel more sexy and self confident and not even bother for his approval on them. I think it is inocent enough for her not to flaunt them for you. I know that my husband understands that everyone masturbates but I don't talk to him about my masturbation sessions. We joke about it to each other but that is about it. She probably didn't know how to explain this to you in the past but has decided that your relationship has come to a point where it is safe to be honest with each other and openly discuss your intimacies. Maybe the wife is just shy about wearing sexy undies in front of her husband and regarding the orgasm, maybe she didn't want him to feel bad or was shy about that too. To tell you the truth, I know friends that have done it and their husbands don't know because of man things. Imagine if she tells him, what is he gonna think? she is a pervert? or a lesbian? but she would've told him what makes her have an orgasm without telling him that she discovered it herself.

LOL, often woman feel pressure from lack of orgasms, it is very common. Yes she could be more relaxed with her slef sexually than she is with you. As far as the underwear, maybe she did not feel sexy in front of you in them. Even though you tell her over and over again she is, woman are more dificult in taking a compliment. Especially from their own husbands. Try to be more hands on with her, take her mind to a level of serenity before making love with her. We have to do all the daily chores in the house, and some times it is hard for us to focus on the " moment" and not on " OH crap, I have to fold laundry before it wrinkles." The underwear thing no biggy.
