Because for some reason white people just let it happen. I don't think I've ever heard of a black person being put on TV to apologize for saying "cracker" or some other racist remark. But we all saw what happened to Kramer, didn't we? It's a common double standard that white people shouldn't let happen.

It's because a lot of white Americans feel guilty about America's racist past. And they're afraid to stand up for themselves when a minority makes negative or racist remarks about whites.

I think it is all stupid. Any sort of racism is bad. Being racist towards white people is not making society any more equal. People have made anti-semitic remarks to me and thought it was not racist because I am also white.
