♥ you could complain to Y!A but unfortunately, there isn't much that will be done. I've complained tons, and have never had a Q&A that was unnecessarily pulled, restored.
The system is automated. So once a troll presses that 'report' button, the Q or A is automatically pulled. There is no system of review in which a real person actually looks at the Q&A that allegedly broke the TOS or Guidelines, or the other person's 'reason' for reporting it.
The rules do state that, abuse of the 'report' key will result in suspension and/or termination of the Y!A account, but honestly, i think, that... without a REAL person to view the reported Q&A... it would be very hard to determine.
Every once in a great while, a REAL person who works for answers will email you a response to your rebuttal or objection concerning the violation; but they never get back to you. I've had three emails that they were 'looking into it' but i never got my points back, or had the Q&A restored.
(personally, between you and me, i just cut&paste the violation, to a new Q window, take the additional -5pt loss, and re-post it, as an "up yours" and a "so there!" to the troll that reported it. lol)
I'm guessing it would be difficult with the volume of emails that the answers team receives due to how many millions of people use this site. Even so, i'd rather the reporting not be anonymous, so that at least, we would have the option to block the loser that was going OCD on the report button just for laughs.
I SO know how you feel. My profile is set to private as well, even so.... one of my contacts turned Nazi and kept reporting my Q&A the other night. After i took a 40point loss, i dropped everyone, and re-added the ones i knew for a fact didn't/wouldn't be that immature. Sorry for your point loss, lol. I know how frustrating it is.
While sometimes the violations are isolated to a few of those 'ya police' avatars who just go around reporting all night, there are also times when a sneak gets into your fans list, and reports just because they're mad, and/or want to cause trouble. So, even with your profile being private, you have to be careful. There's a lot of losers out there unfortunately. Sorry, martha. I know how it feels.
♥hugs♥

Well ! Like I said before set your Profile to private and delete anyone you are not sure of or dont know from your contacts list, I had my account suspended the same way, not getting violation since I set my profile to private. So far so good :o)
Best of luck my friend, take good care of yourself.

Set your profile on private, and delete any contacts that you believe are reporting you, if there is none, then complain to Y!A

I would complain as many times as you can, they are supposedly checking out and removing people that are over reporting for no reason!! This is getting stupid, how childish that they feel the need to do this to people because they are jealous or don't like someones opinion!! Yahoo needs to look into and take care of the problems!!

It is definitely someone stalking you. I've heard of this. The suggestions that people have made are very good ones.
I got a few violations and one I thought was really unnecessary so I filed grievance and never got a response.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the same problem . someone keep hitting violation on me. So every time I got one I wrote Yahoo. I ask them what was wrong with my answer. Some of the question were yes or no question. I would answer them yes and sometime no.

girl, you know as well as i do it is "haters" who violate us.
appeal it with jane on the appeals board but it is tough to get it back but i have done it several times they put them back up.
but when someone is after you, it is sometimes just best to prepare yourself for suspension.
and dont delete your FANS.. that would be ME!

Write an email to Y!A and keep writing until you get a response and a solution (i.e. your points back). Also, you may need to clear out fans that you don't know.
