I am bound by them to many people and many ideals.
It is part of my character.
For example, I do not like to see my friends abused.
My obligation is to look after them.
I feel that is only correct.

No, if I didn't feel obligated to do some things I wouldn't get anything done in life. Like doing my share around the workplace.....
