They are scared because we're comin back! They deny that the fact we had one fair and square because it makes them feel better about the Indians. Beckett has been awesome all season. 2004 ALCS Deja Vu anyone?

First I'm not a Boston fan or Cleveland. But anyone who says they got lucky last night is full of it. Beckett is turning out to be the best pitcher in post season history! 11 K's over 8 innings, what a stud! I don't remember the last time he lost in the post season. Boston did what they needed to do last night and got the W, everyone should be acknowledging the fact that Boston has a very talented team. Sabathia got a little luck early on when he got a couple of double play balls, otherwise the damage would have been worse.
Good luck to both teams!

We didn't get lucky last night! Beckett was awesome! Yes ...the Indians made a few bad plays ..but even without those bad plays we would have won the game. I honestly think Manny's hit was a homerun....It did hit the yellow line...but I think it hit the top of the line....in my opinion we were cheated a run...but it really doesn't matter because we came out on top...I am really proud of the red sox team for stepping it up...I really think pedroia is getting hotter...GO SOX!

I'm not much of a Boston fan. I respect the Red Sox, but I'm pulling for the Tribe in this series.
That said, however, I agree with you. Beckett was on his game with a vengeance, the offense was there to back him up, and it was a well-deserved win for the Red Sox. Plain and simple.

Maybe they mean you got lucky because it was Beckett's turn to pitch in the elimination game. Maybe they mean you got lucky that the Kenny Lofton/Beckett thing didn't turn into more of a brawl (though I think the Boston players would whoop the tribe's ***).
In all honesty Boston had the best pitcher and the better hitters. Manny is an all-time great hitter and he makes Ortiz even more dangerous.

Beckett has been the best pitcher in the American League all year long ... and when it counted he stepped up
If the Sox take it all, they'll look back on this game as the turning point
I don't care if Boston is back by one game .. Somehow with the Sox back home it makes it a bit even now
It gets interesting
Let's see

I agree with you. Beckett was VERY amazing last night. Too bad he didn't strike out one more person so that he'd break his personal record.

It was unfortunate that the Indian fans got their hopes up but they still got to see their team win 3 games. Better luck next year.
