Well, Ralph Wilson stated that the team will be sold at the time of his passing. This means that his family will not be taking over the team. This opens the door for moving it, maybe his heirs want to check it out up there to see if they can sell it to a Toronto invester. But, at the same time I heard that Jim Kelly was interested in the team. That would be a great thing for the city of Buffalo...Keep the team here.
The NFL does want to be International...so this could be a good move for the League. At the same time Buffalo is a small market and most of the fans that watch Bills Games are from Toronto area and Rochester....so after they play a game in Toronto, lets see if we can get them to play a pre-season game in Rochester....

First off - just to inform some of you - the stadium in Toronto is a dome ( I guess nobody watches the Jays!?) so even if the weather was different than Buffalo (which it isn't that different - believe it or not) it would not make any difference.
Now for opinion - I would hate to see it for the Buffalo fans and season ticket holders, getting ripped off 2 games would suck.
However, being a Canadian, I would love to see a NFL team in Canada, but not by way of some midnight move (as has been done). I am not a Buffalo fan, but their fans have been through some pretty tough loses through the years and have hung by their team. I have to give them props for that at least. I may not respect the team - but I do respect their fans!

Yes that 2 hour drive north to balmier weather in the GTA is awesome. What an idiot. I have lived in Buffalo and now live in the GTA and I can most assuredly tell you its gets just as,if not more so, as cold as Buffalo. I also think that the permanent move north will be a reality sooner rather than later. Buffalo the city is hemorrhaging population like no ones business. Ralph Wilson Stadium is older than dirt, and the Bills owner is pi$sed at revenue sharing because the Bills are now a small market team not making that much money anymore. So I think they will be looking for greener pastures soon.

I think they are testing the Toronto market to see if the fan base is better then in Buffalo. Yeah, I wouldnt at all be surprised if it turned out like when the Bullets left Baltimore. They moved to the county but were still the Baltimore Bullets until one year they jumped ship to D.C.

I hadn't heard about this yet, but if it's true...I'm really surprised. I'm not surprised that the NFL is trying to tap into the Canada market, but I am surprised that the Canadian Football League didn't do something to persuade the city and the decision makers involved to veto the idea. Or, maybe the NFL is looking to "absorb" the CFL? I've heard crazier idea's!

"Good. The players won't have to freeze to death during home games in December."
And people wonder why abortion is legal. Players don't freeze to death at the Ralph and if they do, screw em...they're wimps...it's only cold for the pansies who aren't used to it. Anyway, Toronto gets just as cold

I think a team can't survive in canada because their wouldn't be people to come to the games. Because football isn't big in Canada

I think you should reconsider your answer.
Hint: A two hour drive does not result in severe climate change.
