I don't care how big Beckett is or how much younger he is. The dude looked worried. I'm sure he was glad the umpires got in the middle of it!!

Beckett would whip Lofton any day of the week. The reason he looked nervous was he didn't WANT to get in a fight with little Lofton. He wanted to stay in so he could finish making them look SILLLLLLY at the plate.

Oh please!!! Beckett did not back down. The ump (and you could hear the audio you chumps) backed him up and said don't say anything. Lofton is a whimp. He went out there trying to get Beckett thrown out of the game (that would have made him a hero) , which would give them a chance to win and Beckett was smart not to fall for it and well, we know the end result. You lost. Get your heads out of your butts. Beckett would crack that skinny old man in half.

What game were you watching? Beckett looked like he would rip his head off and Lofton's body language was basically "where is my coach to hold me back?" So no...watch the replays...Beckett does not look scared at all...and he didn't back down at all either so I don't know how you thought that made him look like he was going to turn and run.

Beckett realized that because he was being a whiny bee-otch about Lofton flipping his bat there was now possibly about to be a brawl and he would be forced to throw a punch. That meant he would surely get ejected and possibly be the jackass that cost his team the must-win game...all because he didn't like how Lofton flipped his bat....give me a break.
Or maybe Beckett was worried he was about to get beat down in front of his ex-girlfriend. How cold would that have been? How jacked up is it that the Tribe brought in his ex to sing? Wow....

He's like a foot taller than Loften and clearly you need to take off your rose tinted glasses because Beckett didn't move when lil' Loften came slowly walking towards him, slow enough so the 1st base coach and most of the bullpen pitchers could restrain him, Beckett stared him down, Just like he did in Philly in 2005. Beckett would have knocked his block off, this ain't the first time Beckett challenged someone who disrespected him, in 2006 he almost knocked Carl Crawford out. Loften knew he didn't want to get to that mound too quick or wouldn't have trotted all the way to 1st while he was mouthing off and THEN, after everyone knew what was going on, walk toward Beckett.
Seriously, the way you people spun this garbage you should work for FOX NEWS!
