I've always thought some kind of "Super store" would be the place to go. All the food, water, guns, fuel, heat "These places have everything look Disco pants & hair cuts"

ok so this is how it is. zombies, the undead red headed step child of horror movies. walker is right, carry a hand gun, no a revolver. now all zombie accounts say that the zombies they have seen walk very slowly. this is because rigamortis will set in the joints of the undead. making them slowwwww. and also the average zombie life span lasts from at least 1 to 5 years.(depending on what inviroment they are in. also jameses comment says “i dont think you can kill something thats already dead.” the center for disease control in atlanta has been doing tests on the undead for years, they have also been at every zombie attack to retrive the body in america. the virus solonum attacks the brain. it shuts off all bodely functions that are unessary for the life for the zombie. this also means that they can exist under water. NOW THEY CANT BREATH UNDER WATER…. the infected brain shuts off that function so the undead assaliant can function properly. and it is true most americans are over weight, but even i can out skip a zombie. so dont be afraid. just stock up on enough supplies to get you through a week or two weeks, wait for the chaos of the panic of the living, get the people you want to save (2-10 people at least) go into town and get a safe place, clear it of zombies , get as much water as you can into open cantainers, seal all entrances, grow vegstables on the roof, dump sewage off the side, with some other stuff you ont need at zombies to kill a few, stock pile all weapons, sharp objects, blunt objects, food water medical supplies, guns and ammo, AND WELCOME TO YOUR OWN SLICE OF A ZOMBIE HEAVEN!!!! good luck.

Yes, I would survive.. I've read a manual on how to survive zombie attacks. I found it very helpful.

I've committed it to memory, you never know when you'll need that information.

It's called, "The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead" by Max Brooks

If you haven't read it, then you should.

I would like to be stuck in Home Depot because, of all the power tools, and there's a Great Land Target, which is like a Super Target, right next door to it..

So, I'll have weapons, foods and things to keep me entertained, between those two stores.

If I had a second choice it would be at a Super-center, like Walmart. You could start a whole new world, inside of a Walmart or Meijers..

If only..........

In a large scale zombie attack, I'm not sure anyone can survive. The question is more, how long can you survive?
The first order of business would be to equip yourself with a firearm, preferably a semi auto rifle, this will be accurate for those much needed head shots, and you will be able to conserve more rounds with it not being fully auto (also easier to acquire) Also with this is as much ammunition as you can stockpile. (a sidearm would also be preferable in this situation)

The next order of business is to find someplace to hold up and hope for a rescue. This would be preferable to have 2 entrances/ exits, which can be blockaded easily. Also, an exit that zombies wouldn't be able to follow you on, such as a zipline to another building with pre determined exit/strategy plans. Also with this, it is good to have as many people with you as possible, the more people there are, the more guns you can have and in the case of a last ditch effort, the more meat shields there are to eliminate you as a target, giving you more time to escape.

As for food and water, this would be best if it was already provided in the location that you are held up in (grocery store, corner store, wal-mart, ect.) The less supplies you have to go out into the streets for and hunt down, the better your chance of survival.

After this, all you can really do is pray to whatever God you have to give you a steady aim and a quick rescue to a non zombie inhabited area.

This is such a cool question!
I've never thought about the answer though. I guess I'd have to do what the guys in Sean of the Dead did, act like I'm one of the pack, get out and get to a 7/11, then board up the windows and doors, eat all the candy bars and drink the slurpies until the zombies finally come to get me. (Eventually we all get bit. You know that.)

Probably not. I don't know enough about zombies to know their strengths and weaknesses. I suppose locking the doors and boarding up the windows wouldn't be enough -- because there's enough food and water at home to last for quite a while. Hmmm...I wonder if there are anti-zombie charms we could hang around -- like garlic against vampires.

That depends. Are they slow, stupid zombies like Resident Evil, or fast, agile brain eaters, like in Return of the Living Dead? If slow, I would get a bat and have a little fun with it. If faster, hopefully I could find a good place to hold up with a hunting rifle and a ton of ammo!

I have a bunker jammed packed with food and 10 can survive for 7 years and it has a ambient light source and two generators that run off of compressed air and the generators keep their own air compressed. (my husbands invention). It has all the anemities of home. So, we will be great untill the zombies finally eat everyone and starve to death. Also a plasma television and all the movies one could hope to have. Plus nice warm beds and even a kitchenette with fridge and deep freezers. When attack comes who wants to come with me and live? LOL we are waiting for a world event to happen though zombie attack wasn't in any of our senerios.

I would first go to a gun shop and gear up from head to toe with body armor, take two shotguns, bag of handguns in case i see people who is need of them and as many bags of ammo as i could Cary.I would than jump in to the biggest truck i see if the road conditions would allow driving and than i would seek for survivors and stop by seven eleven or supermarket to get food and supplies and try to survive as long as i can.The only way i would kill myself is if I'm bitten or about to be eaten by them.

Y'know they actually came up with a handbook on how to survive a zombie holocaust.
I WISH I'd bought it. Way funny and really informative!

I'd go to the pub. Like in Shaun of the Dead. Hilarious movie, even though a trifle heavy on the language.
