Hello,

I'm French and will go to Australia for a year. I can work for the same employer only 6 months (the visa requires that).
My English is fine but not perfect.

What kind of jobs can I find easily in Sydney?
I don't wanna be a waitress.

Hospitality and tourism are the major easy job fields and pay quite well. seasonal work is always available in rural areas and part time or casual work is plentiful if you really want it. By saying no to waitressing you are severely limiting your options as you will be competing for jobs with younger Aussie kids looking for part time work as well. The choice really is up to you

I assume you are going on the 1 year Working Holiday Maker.

You can get almost any job you want, I know people on the same Visa, some work in Banks, some work in Pubs and Bars, some work in Offices.

It really depends what type of work your looking for, in Sydney it’s very easy to get a job.

Enjoy your trip.

Today is Saturday. Look at some of the jobs available in the classified advertisements in the Sydney Morning Herald today. That should give you a good idea of what's available. Casual employment is what you should look for

Try looking at the Retail sector. There is plenty of work at this time of year.
