The auction is over...final bid $2,100,100. Rush is matching the final bid.
Now Harry Reid is trying to save face by implying that he was somehow involved in putting on this auction...that he and Rush had buried the hatchet and were working together to help the troops.
What gall that idiot has!!! As if people are bidding for the letter just because his signature is on it...rather than bidding on it for what it represents...41 members of Congress abusing their power by trying to sanction a private citizen's right to free speech...not to mention that the allegations were lies to begin with.

Yes, actually it is 4.2 million. He is going to match the eBay auction. So, if it goes for 2.1 million, the charity will get 4.2 million.
It still has an hour and a half to go, I believe.

Rush--the greatest. May his plethora of body guards always be vigilant. The leftist ideologues can be very dangerous.
Just ask the family of Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko who pi**ed off Putin.

No. And I really don't care. Rush Limbaugh and his "hatefull" speech has done plenty of harm to this country that no amount of charity work can heal.
And remember, Rush Limbaugh was a drug user, and while doing so, used his radio show to proclaim his moral superiority to others.
Rush Limbaugh, makes continual lies and is never held accountable.
Rush Limbaugh, after the 2006 elections, basically said that he had been lying for years ("holding their water") and still people somehow think that he is independent or something.
He is a tool of the Conservative movement of this country to take over the government with whatever means is necessary. The entire Bush Administration was filled with unqualified people. The Justice Departement is one example. Putting people in charge of rebuilding Iraq who had zero experience is another. Rush Limbaugh is simply a well paid mouthpiece to promote and defend their objective. If it was found that the President was sacrificing lambs in the Rose Garden, Rush Limbaugh would have an excuse.

My uncle thinks he is the coolest, but I do not get into talk radio. If he has, good for him and the charity.

Should he really need to raise 2.1 million if the USA was taking care of our troops and vets instead of spending 500 billion on a failed war and trillions on the war on terror?
=======
Don't you Limbaugh and armchair warriors see the hypocrisies of that? --- I mean come on, the troops are treated like $hit by our government, not given the protection they need, and then after their benefits are reduced and those in vet hospitals are not getting the finest and best that this country could give.
Kind of like the way our country Katrina'd the people.
=======
Peace
Jim
