That's an unfair generalization. What makes them stupid?

What i don't understand is why INDIAN fans trash BOSTON for having a high payroll. If you had to directly compete with the 200 Million dollar YANKEES the TRIBE would have to up the payroll too or end up like the D-RAYS in the basement.
The SOX can have a 140 Million payroll because they have loyal and supportive fans who are willing to pay the highest ticket prices in the leauge in one of the smallest parks so that the team can go out and directly compete with the YANKEES and other high $$ teams for players and be able to keep the players they have who deserve the bump in pay (like David Ortiz when they gave him an extention & a raise).
The INDIANS put a great team on the field for small $$$, I think that's great but when Grady Sizemore's contract is up do you think they'll have to pay him more? I do. He's not the only one who they'll have to pay or lose eventually either. It's not uncommon to put a great team together for little money (just ask Billy Bean) but keeping all those players or keeping competitive with a turn over year after year is not likely. They may have the core of the team signed for a while but who's to say they all play well every year? What if they need someone else? Will they pay for them? Can they pay for them? Alot of that comes down to the loyal fans willing to buy a ticket & merch.

Just ask the TWINS!

I don't believe anyone could ever call me a bandwagon fan. More than half of those fans that are filling up the Jake now could be classified as that, but until I became engaged this year, I was going to every single home game possible. Where were all of those people in the beginning and middle of the season when there were only 20k people per night? No, I am NOT a bandwagon fan. I love them no matter what. I'd still deck my car out in Tribe stuff like it is now and wear my Indians stuff even if we finished 0 - 162. GO TRIBE!!!

We've been here the whole time. Sorry we don't have front-runner fans who aren't from Boston all over the place. We don't have a billion dollars to spend like Boston or New York, so our fans our REAL.

Good luck in the off-season Red Sock Nation.

And which stupid baseball team are you a fan of? In fact, why are all you people interested in a boring game of stupid baseball! What a stupid way to start the day.

Because they have all been Red Sox haters for a long time and they are rooting for them to send Boston home to watch the World Series on TV.

Loyal baseball fans, no matter what team they root for are NOT stupid. What an immature question. I'll consider the source & move on to another question. I hate name calling, it's so childish. ~GO TRIBE~
