I often go to internet cafe's to WiFi, and buy coffee so they don't kick me out. I get it in a to-go cup so I can put a lid on it.

I do eat and drink when I use the computer, but the food and drink are always a good distance away from any of the computer components. I never eat or drink while I'm typing. I try to keep these tasks completely separate.

Yep, and I often regret it...crumbs in the keyboard which i soon have to blow out with canned air. But it's inevitable because I sit here from 7:30AM to 9:30PM and I can't really starve myself and go without drinking water or coffee (mmm!)

I have my coffee sitting on a table next to my computer so it can't spill on anything that matters if I do spill it and I have my ashtray and cigs. I usually don't eat anything while I'm on the computer. That would definitely stink if I spilled something on my keyboard.

Yes, I do. But I'm REALLY careful.
I've lost a couple of keyboards that way. I've also had a keyboard survive 16 ounces of hot coffee poured directly into it.

I eat and drink all the time at my computer. And if my wife hadn't quit smoking I would still be smoking in front of it too and would get one of these:

Yea... it can be a pain in the ass tho if u spill your drink.. on wires and your powerbar, and in your keyboard lol. Eating isnt as bad, except the crumbs :D

Sometimes I snack at my computer, like at my desk at work.
My computer table at home does'nt have enough room for anything else....

I do this constantly and when accidents happen, I still don't learn my lesson. *puts down can of Diet Coke*.

Yes I do - I have killed a couple of keyboards thanks to spilled coffee but that's about it.
