I burn with NeroVision Express 3 and my disks often won't work with other people. Both in my own country and in USA. ( I'm in Holland)But the strange thing is... SOME disks do work.

I love nero and I NEVER have any other application on while burning.... very careful with cpu and such...
WHY won't they work? what can the reasons be?? any insights are appreciated.

Sounds like I'm not doing much wrong... I use the memorex dvd+r, and burn at 16 speed. All my disks work on my pc AND my dvd player... it's just that with others they wont always work... I guess it's up to them to figure it out.... Thanks you for trying and suggesting though! O, and thanks for the new program name I can try!!

What speed are you burning at and what brand of dvd are u using? Are you using dvd-r or dvd+r?

I always use dvd-r (plays on more dvd players than +) and burn at 8x so its a constant speed and i know exactly how long it takes, so if there a problem with a disk or something, then the time will be off, and i can toss the bad copy. Also, brand matters, if you buy cheap dvds, they wont have as much of a success rate, i use maxell and memorex. 1 more thing is to burn from your harddrive, not burner 2 burner.

Everyone has their own preference, but thats what i do, and my good burn % is about 95%

I used to use Nero but had the same problems.
Now I use 2 programs to put movies on DVD and they work a treat.
I use Winavi to convert the movie file to DVD file (vob)
Then I use a proggie called 'Prassi ones' to burn to DVD.
Never let me down yet.

great question because of the fact it is going to the coronary heart of the recycling and rubbish provider regulations that cities and cities create. i think of which you ought to be allowed to do what you and the others did. yet i might verify with the city and discover out at what factor does the keep proprietor relinquish "possession" of his waste. Does he flow possession to the waste administration organisation whilst he places it interior the bin, or does the city or in spite of the fact that jurisdiction that handles the waste very own it. It easily is an significant question because of the fact whoever "owns" the waste on the factor of it being placed interior the dumpster could make it much less stressful, or extra no longer undemanding, for the human beings who decide for to variety and take it domicile. i think of taking it from the dumpster is totally effective for a pair reasons: at the beginning, it reduces the quantity of waste getting into the incinerator or landfill and secondly, it makes use of completely usable products. I advise which you detect out from the city or city in which you reside who owns the waste on the factor of pickup (the dumpster). it ought to have a great pertaining to what's in a position to take place to the products interior the dumpster.

I don't think it's Nero that's your problem, i think its the Disc Media you are using, some CD-ROM's will not read certain discs, even though your computer can burn them, some people cannot read them using their CD-ROM, best thing to do is check what kind of CD's you are using, it usually says on the front of the CD's like CD-R or CD-RW. The best Media that is compatible with most CD-ROM's is CD-R
