Recently in my apartment I have seen the biggest spider ever!! (to me anyways lol)...It is grayish in color...has a big abdomen...I live in NC if that makes any difference...I know this isn't a great description but I am really freaked out by spiders and am just wondering if this kind could be harmful to me! Thanks!

Probably harmless; does it have stripes running front-to-back on the front part of the body? If so, mark it down as a wolf spider. If not, try to give the most detailed description you can, using anything you noticed about it, and it may be possible to give a better ID.

The only harmless kinds of spiders in NC are the black widow and the brown recluse.
So I think it's harmless according to this site.
