Call your local department of social services. There should be a fraud option in the recording at the beginning.

If you wish to report any misuse, fraud, waste, or abuse of food stamp benefits, you can use this toll-free number: 1-800-424-9121

The food stamp program is federally funded, but administered locally by either state or local health commissions. Your complaint will ultimately end up with the agency that oversees the program in your area.

No one really cares about the abuses that go on in government. I seem to remember7 junior senators got together to clean up Washington, but when members of their party were involved in scandle they dummied up. If you make social services work for a living, then you risk a chance at true reform. If they went to all the houses and stopped abuse or went to all the needy and taught them a trade, eventually they would have no work and that seems counter-productive.

i would think the public aid office, 1/2 a million is way more than enough to live on, you are right, you should report it so someone who actually needs the money can get it.

Do you have proof of their inheritance? How do you know they're not lying to you, without proof? If you feel compelled, report it to your local Department of Jobs and Family Services. Remember, some people can have a job, win up to 20,000 in a settlement, and still qualify for food stamps....

If you know they're selling, mind your own business coz they could be in with drug dealers and God knows who else.

If you think someoen should be investigated for welfare fraud, you should go to the local assistance office with your concerns. Inheritance is not necessarily treated as regular income and may not be counted when estimating their need for food stamps.

The agency in your state which issues food stamps. In fact, the agency requests to know if anyone sees any suspicious behaviour with them.

Report the person to the state/county agency that administers the food stamp program.

The agency will have a fraud unit.
