It will be special only if your partner and you are in a loving and committed relationship. For your first experience to be really special, wait for your wedding night. And yes there may be some pain and bleeding the first time.

I presume you are a girl? You might bleed a little it depends on how brutal (rough) you mate is going to be. If he is kind, loving and gentle, you might not bleed at all. You see when you Hyman is broken (all virgins have this) Its like a little bruise that will tend to bleed a little. But if you mate is huge (like 8 inches or more) you will hurt if he goes deep and probably will bleed for a couple of days.. To make it special you should go away for the weekend to some place special have a good dinner, Buy some champaign and flowers and don't just stay at a regular motel or hotel find one that is special. This is a day that you will never ever forget... Good luck and have a great time... Grant M in Pennsylvania

The very fact that you're asking these questions means that you're NOT ready to lose your virginity.
It's one of the few "firsts" in your life that will always be important to you. It's also something that will unleash so many other emotions afterward that you have to be more mature to properly deal with. I don't think anyone should or does wait for their wedding day anymore. I lost my virginity at 16 and got pregnant that first time. Horrible. I didn't think it could happen. I was on birth control and everything and STILL it happened.
I hope you'll put it off for a while yet. When it's right, you'll know. And yes you bleed. But your heart 'bleeds' more than anything else so protect it for a while longer. I wish someone had given ME this advice.

the first time you have sex is always special! don't be tricked into trying to create something, or to create an occasion. if something is special, it doesn't need to be dressed up and tricked out. don't try to plan a 'special' event or 'special' place, because when and where it happens, naturally, is all a part of the magic!

Just make sure you care about your partner. Even more importantly, that they care about you.

Not everyone bleeds their first time. the bleeding is only the breaking of the hymen, however the hymen can break during day to day activities as a child. You won't know until it happens.

to make the day you lose your viginity special you should be having sex with some one youtruely love, and someone that truely loves you of course. Something like that is just not given away. Don't be drunk when you do it. yes, you will bleed on your first day. It's normal, and it won't be much but there will be a little spotting and it won't feel too great for you that first time, but each time after that it feels better.

To make the day special the person whom you are losing your virgnitiy to must be special. Make sure you are not being forced and that it is something that you really want to do, not to please the other person or try to keep them in a relationship with you. Also eveytones body is different so you wont know if you will bleed on your first time.

I'm a guy that’s great in bed I've been told. But I would give all my exploits to have my chance to have my virginity back. Most guys do not know or have not been taught how to break a girls hymen (i.e. loose a girls virginity because you are breaking a barrier of flesh that can bleed). I have had numerous opportunities and I have been taught how to. I know that I've never wanted to do it too much responsibility. You have good and bad advice on in these responses. Great sex is precipitated by having a great person and one who isn't a selfish lover. Trust me whenever the momentous time comes one thing for sure is that you wont ever be a virgin again. Save it for the person who loves you better than they love them selves. Then make him wait.

The only way to make it 'special' is to wait for somebody who you really want to lose it to to come along - Whether that's love or very deep respect I cannot say, but you can only lose it once, so be careful who you -quite literally- let inside.
Not everyone bleeds, that depends on a few factors - including his technique and how turned on you are when he goes in for the first time.

Lose your virginity with someone that really loves you. The bleeding thing, every girl is different. Some bleed a lot , some nothing. The way the man prepares you is very important. If he gets you really excited, you won't feel that much. Good luck.

First of all I think you need to worry about if the guy you choose will stick around after wards. Giving that to any guy is a big step & you have to worry about if he has been with alot of other girls. Protection is a another thing you need to think about. Just really take your time on making a decision like that cause you can never get that back.If you are really young I would say wait until you understand what your doing first cause as a woman we are very emotional over sex.
