It depends - if I'm short on time, I'll make a list & I'll stick to it word for word - so I can get in & get out.
But for the most part when I go grocery shopping - I'll make a short list of the must haves & I'll just wing the rest.

Well honey, that depends on the number of items needed though. If the list is long, then I'll gleefully note down the groceries and buy them accordingly. If not, then I will just go to the store and buy the items though.
Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

No.
I have a running list in my head of everything everyone needs and I am methodical in my shopping habits to make sure I miss nothing.
You should see me at the checkout stand. I am a wonder at getting my stuff bagged properly and placed in the cart so that nothing gets damaged and cold things stay cold.
But as I am normally being annoyed as I shop I go with out a list and follow my method instead. It keeps annoyances down to a minimum.

Yes. My wife makes a detailed list of all items, including their weight and co.name. This saves her from missing any item necessary and repeat visit to grocery store. She will never purchase any item out of impulse. So, the list saves her money and time

i've got constantly heard which you may save the "outer perimeter" of the food market. In maximum shops, meaning produce (end result, vegetables), some bread, lean meats and fish, and dairy (eggs, lo-fat milk, yogurt). It seems such as you have a great plan; do not forget to drink lots of water. particularly situations once you think of you're hungry, this is rather thirst. And water can scale down cravings.

I make a list so I won't forget stuff I really need, and then I also buy stuff I want that's not on the list.

Yes, but I rarely follow the list and always get more than what is on the list.

Nope.
I see something I want, I grab it.
Otherwise, I basically know what I need to pick up.
